International certification
CE certification
It is a mandatory certification of the European Union for product safety, health, and environmental protection. Portable power stations must pass CE certification to enter the EU market. It covers the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), etc., requiring products to comply with EU standards in terms of electrical safety, electromagnetic radiation, and anti-interference to ensure the safe use and free circulation of products in the EU market.
FCC certification
It is a certification conducted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States for electronic products entering the US market. For portable power stations, FCC certification mainly focuses on the electromagnetic compatibility and radio frequency interference of products, ensuring that the products will not interfere with radio communications and other equipment in the United States, and also ensure the normal operation of products in electromagnetic environments.
UL certification
It is a product safety certification conducted by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) of the United States, which has a high degree of authority in the world. UL's certification of portable power stations includes safety assessments of battery systems, circuit design, shell materials, etc., such as fire resistance, electrical insulation performance, battery safety testing, etc., to ensure the safety of products in various usage scenarios.
PSE certification
It is Japan's mandatory safety certification for electrical products. According to Japan's Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Law, electrical products such as portable power stations must pass PSE certification and be affixed with the PSE mark before they can be sold in the Japanese market. PSE certification is divided into two types: diamond and round, and different types correspond to different product categories and safety requirements.
UN38.3 certification
It is a standard set by the United Nations for lithium battery transportation safety. Since portable power stations usually use lithium batteries as energy storage media, they must pass UN38.3 certification when conducting cross-border logistics such as air transportation and sea transportation. This certification mainly tests the physical and chemical properties of lithium batteries, including thermal stability, overcharge, short circuit, extrusion, impact and other tests to ensure the safety of lithium batteries during transportation.
