1. Most portable power stations are equipped with multiple output interfaces. Common ones include USB-A interface, USB-C interface, DC (direct current) interface and AC (alternating current) socket. For example, some power stations have 2-3 USB-A interfaces, whose output specifications may be 5V/2.4A, which can charge devices such as smartphones, tablets, mobile power supplies, etc.; USB-C interfaces generally support higher power output, such as 65W or 100W power output, which can charge high-power devices such as laptops; DC interfaces can be used to power some small DC appliances, such as small fans, LED lights, etc.; AC sockets can provide power for devices that need to be plugged into AC power (such as small TVs, small electric kettles, etc.), as long as the total power of these devices does not exceed the rated output power of the energy storage power supply.
2. Power distribution and restrictions
1. However, the number and type of devices that can be charged at the same time will be limited by the rated power of the power station. For example, a portable power station is rated at 300W. When charging a 100W laptop and a 60W small electric kettle at the same time, there is still 300-(100 + 60) = 140W of power left for other devices. If some higher-power devices are connected, so that the total power exceeds 300W, the energy storage power supply may trigger overload protection and stop output to prevent damage to the device.
3. Intelligent charging management system
1. In order to better charge multiple devices at the same time, many portable power stations are also equipped with an intelligent charging management system. This system can automatically allocate power according to the number and power requirements of connected devices. For example, when a mobile phone (5W) and a tablet (10W) are connected at the same time, the intelligent charging management system will give priority to ensuring that the device is charged at the appropriate power. It may allocate a charging current of 5V/1A to the mobile phone and a charging current of 5V/2A to the tablet, and monitor the charging status of each device in real time to ensure the safety and efficiency of the charging process.
