Diverse output methods
- Multiple interfaces: Ordinary batteries generally only have two output terminals, positive and negative, while portable power stations are equipped with various types of output interfaces, such as USB-A, USB-C, AC sockets, DC interfaces, etc. For example, when camping outdoors, you can use the AC socket interface to power low-power home appliances such as electric ovens and small electric fans; use the USB interface to charge digital devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and cameras, meeting the power needs of different devices.
- Support AC output: Ordinary batteries output DC power, while portable power stations can not only output DC power, but also output stable AC power, which makes it adaptable to more types of electrical equipment, such as laptops, drones, car refrigerators, etc. Some small power tools that require AC power can also be powered by portable power stations, so that they can be used normally without mains power.
High energy conversion efficiency
- Built-in inverter: Portable power stations are usually equipped with efficient inverters inside, which can convert the DC power stored in the battery into AC power with high conversion efficiency. In contrast, if ordinary batteries are to power AC devices, they need to be equipped with additional inverters, and the conversion efficiency of these external inverters is often low, which will cause certain energy losses.
More portable and versatile
- Integrated design: The portable power station integrates components such as batteries, inverters, and chargers in a compact housing, with a more reasonable design and convenient to carry and use. Ordinary batteries need to be paired with various accessories such as chargers and inverters, which are relatively troublesome to use, and these accessories also increase the burden of carrying.
- Wide application scenarios: Due to its multiple output interfaces and stable power output, the portable power station is suitable for various scenarios, such as outdoor camping, self-driving tours, emergency rescue, mobile office, etc. Whether it is charging electronic devices in the wild or as a temporary backup power source for the family during a power outage, it can play an important role. The application scenarios of ordinary batteries are relatively narrow, mainly limited to powering small DC devices.
